Anita Wilder
ABOUT THE DIRECTOR
Adult Visionary was started in 2010. The founder, Anita Wilder, retired from 20 years as Executive Director of a United Way member agency whose mission was to serve and enhance the lives of seniors with in-home care, promoting their independence by avoiding nursing home placement.
The many years of experience in serving older adults amplify the call on Mrs. Wilder’s life - to continue in her “Golden Years” caring for this valued population who, in many instances, are at risk of losing their independence.
The creation of Adult Visionary was born out of recognition of the contributions seniors have made to our community who deserve appreciation by Adult Visionary’s rendering compassionate, quality professional health care in the home environment.
Since it's founding, we have helped hundreds of people receive assistance with activities of daily living, and maintained their quality of life with dignity… IN THEIR OWN HOMES!
Patricia Roy
Executive Assistant/Billing and Field Operations.
Ms. Roy was hired about five months after Adult Visionary In-Home Services opened its doors and, to this day, she has been a partner in establishing the company’s reputation as a valued resource for older adults in the St Louis Metropolitan Community.
Ms. Roy’s background in the Financial Arena, as well as a Senior Worker with AARP, combine her proficiencies in the agency’s billing processes, human resource management and serving as a compassionate advocate for the seniors we serve.
When reflecting on Ms. Roy’s positive interactions with clients, personnel, and all associates of the company, one can recall a quote by Maya Angelou, “I’ve learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel.”
Her commitment to conducting business in an ethical and conscientious manner ensures Adult Visionary’s pursuit of excellence as a matter of mission -- while maintaining a strong workforce and satisfied customers.
Diane Jackson
Marketing Manager
Since April, 2023, Ms. Jackson has become a valuable asset to Adult Visionary.
Her ability to adapt into an environment significantly different from previous employment, speaks volumes about her skills.
Diane has a BS degree in Management and Organizational Development. Before joining our team, Diane's career was in the field of Inventory Control. Her expertise in Event Management, a side venture in which she continues to engage, enhances Adult Visionary's Marketing pursuits very effectively.
In her role as Marketing Manager she leads and promotes efforts to grow and expand this company exponentially. Diane will also serve as backup for field personnel to ensure continuity of service to our clients.
